World Space Week Celebrated at CCH

CCH celebrated World Space Week on 7th & 8th Oct, 2017. World Space Week is the largest celebrated public space event on earth.

25 schools and colleges participated in the 2-day event. We had more than 600 participants and space ambassadors in the event.

There were 31 competitions planned and included 45 categories such as Space Declamation (English & Urdu), Essay and Story Writing, Arts Competitions, Space Quiz, Mathematical Quiz, Glider Flying Competition etc.

Moreover, team of Lahore Astronomical Society which includes Air Commodore (R) Kaiser Tufail (14th Entry) and Mr. Roshan Bukhari did marvelous job as they conducted astronomical sessions for Cadets and other participants.

They also conducted a solar observation session in which more than 500 students/teachers observed sun through telescope.

At last a prize distribution was conducted to distribute prizes to winners of different events. Overall the winner was FIC Minhas Kamra while the APS Attock was the runners up.
