Professor Pervez Hoodbhoy visits CCH

Pervez Amirali Hoodbhoy is a Pakistani nuclear physicist and activist who serves as Zohra and ZZ Ahmed Foundation distinguished professor at the Forman Christian College and previously taught physics at the Quaid-e-Azam University. Professor Hoodbhoy is also a prominent activist in particular concerned with promotion of freedom of speech, secularism and education in Pakistan.

He visited CCH on 27th Oct, 2018 and spoke to senior cadets about the importance of science in general and physics in particular. He also had a session with the faculty members and discussed techniques to improve teaching standards. He, along with his spouse, were given a campus tour by the principal at the end.

We hope speakers like Professor Pervez will inspire cadets and faculty alike to think beyond boundaries.
