CCH Alpine Club for the year 2022 focused on the stupendous task of paying tribute to Mr. Sirbaz Khan, the first Pakistani to scale twelve 8000-metre peaks out of a total of 14 around the globe.

The club members interviewed Mr. Sirbaz Khan telephonically and noted down the minute details of his expedition.

The same was exhibited in a model depicting his route to Nanga Parbat peak from the Diamer side as the case study. The members of the Club, with the help of CCH Makers’ Space Club, prepared a 3D Model of the case study as well.

Alpine Club Pakistan assisted the members of CCH Alpine Club in an exhibition of essential mountaineering equipment and a pictorial display of High altitude mountains of the North.

Members of the CCH Alpine Club also successfully completed a virtual course developed by The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation on Hiking and Mountaineering.
