Dr. Shimail Daud Arain is a dedicated healthcare leader and alumnus of Cadet College Hasanabdal (32nd Entry) with nearly 30 years of experience in medical infrastructure and executive governance. As a Trustee and member of the Investment Committee for the CCH Endowment Fund Trust (CCHEFT), he leverages his extensive background in public policy and entrepreneurship to support the Trust’s mission of institutional excellence and student financial assistance.

Trustee & Investment Committee Member: Actively oversees the financial health and strategic growth of the Cadet College Hasanabdal Endowment Fund Trust.
Economic Policy Leader: Served as President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and as a Member of the Federal Board of Investment for the Government of Pakistan.
Institutional Stewardship: Served member of the National Steering Committee for the HEC Technology Development Endowment Trust Fund and Board Trustee for the PRIME Institute.
Vocational & Urban Oversight: Former Executive Board Member for the Punjab Vocational Training Institute (PVTI) and Board Member of the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), Rawalpindi.

Dr. Daud is the CEO of Maryam Memorial Hospital (Pvt) Ltd and an alumnus of the 17th National Security Workshop at the National Defence University (NDU). He holds an MBA in Health Administration (USA), an MA in Hospital Management (UK), and an M.B.B.S. (Pakistan).

Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1970, having trained at AFF-PWC after his schooling at CCH and St. Mary’s. Over the decades he has had experience in manufacturing, as well as in the financial services, both within and outside the country. He joined the Arif Habib Group in the year 2000 to conceive and set up an Asset Management Company, namely Arif Habib Investments, which became the market leader, it was later converted into a joint venture with MCB and subsequently sold to MCB.

Mr. Beg has also held senior level responsibilities in the automobile industry. During his tenure at the Allied Engineering Group, he set up a green field project for the manufacture of sophisticated indigenous components for the automotive industry under transfer of technology licenses with Japanese and European manufacturers.

His initiation into the financial services business was with the Abu Dhabi Investment Company, UAE, where he was a part of the team that set up the company in 1977. He was the founding Chairman of the Institute of Financial Markets of Pakistan, which was sponsored by the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). He has served on several committees set up by the SECP for developing the Capital Markets, including the one that authored the Voluntary Pension System. He has also held the Chairmanship of the Mutual Funds Association of Pakistan. In addition, he has also been a member of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council (EAC).

Brig Nasir Saeed Khattak, SI (M), (Retd) is from the 25th entry and remained at CCH as a cadet from 1978 to 1983. After graduation from CCH, he opted to join Pakistan Army and on Passing Out from Pakistan Military Academy was assigned to a Regiment of the Pakistan Armoured Corp.

A graduate of Command and Staff College Quetta and Pakistan Air Force, Air War College, Karachi, he has a Masters of Science in Defence and Strategic Studies from the National Defence University. During his service of 32 years, he has held various Command, Instructional and Staff appointments besides serving in a United Nations Mission in West Africa.

His professional development trainings include Rausing Executive Development Center, LUMS and Harvard Graduate School of Education. He also has earned a Certificate in School Management and Leadership (CSML), a multi-course certificate program for school leaders, from Harvard University.

He also has an extensive experience of Education Management: He served as Adjutant CCH from 1992-1995, Administrative Officer Army Public School and College (APS&C) Multan Cantt, and Secretary APS&C, Chunian Garrison. He has also been an Instructor Class A at the School of Armour and Mechanised Warfare, Nowshera Cantt. Later, he established a higher secondary school in Baluchistan as a joint venture with Metallurgical Corporation Ltd of China in 2010. In 2013, he was tasked to establish a Cadet College in South Waziristan and became the Founder Principal and Project Director of Cadet College Wana, South Waziristan Agency.
He performed the duties of Vice Chairman Board of Governors APS&C Gujranwala Garrison from 2015 to 2017 and President of Federal Govt Educational Institutions and Cantt board Educational System from 2015 to 2017 in Upper Sindh.
