Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Najib Ullah Khan, HI (M), was commissioned in the Corps of Engineers on October 24, 1980. He has diverse experience of command, staff and instructional assignments. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in War Studies. He is a graduate of Command and Staff College Camberley, UK and National Defense University, Islamabad. He has been in the faculty of the Pakistan Military Academy and the National Defense University. He has also commanded an Infantry Brigade and Strike Infantry Division in the Pakistan Army.
Having been the DG Frontier Works Organization (FWO), Engineer-in-Chief, Quarter Master General, and Officer In-Charge National Logistic Cell (NLC), he possesses a diverse experience of planning, managing and executing mega infrastructure development and construction projects across Pakistan.
He also has the privilege and honor of successfully planning, executing and leading the operation Zarb-e-Azab. He completed his colored service and retired from the Army in December 2016, after which he was appointed as Managing Director, Army Welfare Trust (MD AWT) where he had handled 21 Businesses, including real estate.
