Atta Ur Rahman

Dr. Atta Ur Rahman, originally from Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, joined Cadet College Hasanabdal in 2009 as a Lecturer in Islamic Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies, along with M.A. degrees in Arabic and English Literature, as well as CT and B.Ed. qualifications.
An accomplished sportsman, Dr. Rahman actively participates in football, table tennis, badminton, and squash, and enjoys engaging with cadets in these activities. He has served as the Officer-in-Charge of the College Football Team and has been an active member of the OIC Calligraphy Club.

Currently, Dr. Atta serves as the Housemaster of Omar Wing and continues to teach Islamic Studies to both HSSC and Cambridge classes. In 2017, he earned the prestigious Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE) status. Before joining the College, he also served as a senior teacher and In-charge at GIK Institute College, Topi, Swabi.

A dedicated academician, Dr. Atta has received numerous certificates and awards in both education and sports. He has authored over 20 research publications in reputed national and international journals and currently serves as Head of the Department (HOD) of Islamic Studies.
