The Geo-modelling Club focused on Environmentalism, one of Round Square IDEALS, in their project. This was reflected both in the use of material and depiction of a picturesque landscape in shape of Turf Houses in Iceland.

Initially built by the Norse people about a thousand years ago, due to a lack of timber & other building material in their area, their dwellings use Turf as a major portion of the infrastructure.

This not only fulfils the need for building materials but also insulates the house against the

climate of Iceland itself.
