“Community Service for Sikh Pilgrims on 553rd Birth Commemoration of Guru Nanak”
18 Volunteers from OW 66TH Entry part of Pakistan Red Crescent Youth Club Cadet College Hasanabdal welcomed 883 Sikh Yatris on Wednesday 9th Nov-2022 at Hassan Abdal Railway Station under the supervision of Mr. Mirza Saeed Ahmad , Mr. M. Tayyab, Cadet Syed Hasnain Naqvi, Cadet Usman Ishaq & Cadet M.Abdullah Sahi.
Volunteers welcomed the guests by giving them bouquets and saying good wishes to the foreigners who had come to celebrate Baba Guru Nanak’s 553rd Birthday.
First Aid was set up to provide ill pilgrims with medicines, checkups, facemasks, and Oral Rehydration Solution. Wheelchairs were also made available to help specially-abled people.
The volunteers helped the railway station administration with the provision of water to the pilgrims. They also helped the pilgrims carry luggage to the buses parked in the parking of the railway station.
