Mr. Muazzam Ali Saqib

Muazzam Ali Saqib joined Cadet College Hasanabdal (CCH) as a faculty member of the Mathematics on May 24, 2004. He holds an M Phil in Educational Planning and Management, and MSc degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science. Since October 2024, he has been serving as the Deputy Vice Principal (Wider Curriculum). Previously, he was the House Master of Omar Wing from 2020 to 2024. His responsibilities have also included serving as the Award Leader for The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Program (2018 – 2023), and Founder Chairman of the Red Crescent Youth Club (2017 – 2021), which was recognized by Pakistan Red Crescent as the best youth club in the country. Muazzam has also played a pivotal role in fostering collaborations, serving as focal person for Collaboration with WWF (2017 – 2020), Akhuwat, SOS Children’s Villages (2016 – 2020) as the Chief Coordinator for the Community Service Program (2016 – 2020). Additionally, he was the Officer in Charge of the Movie Club (2006 – 2020), Incharge of the College Mathematics Club (2004 – 2006), Co-incharge of Basketball (2004 – 2005), and Secretary of the Staff Club in (2018 – 2019).

Muazzam’s academic contributions and development are significant. He authored two research theses: “SWOT Analysis of MA EPM Programme of AIOU” and “Analysis of HRM Practices in the Pioneer Cadet Colleges of Pakistan”. He participated in the International Conference of the Asian Association of Open Universities in 2013 and published a research paper in the Turkish Online Journal of Distance Education the same year. His teaching experience before joining CCH spans Punjab University, Lahore (2002), and Virtual University of Pakistan (2002- 2004). He has worked as a Resource Person for MA EPM and M.Ed Programs at AIOU, Islamabad. Muazzam also pursued religious education at Al-Mawrid Institute of Islamic Sciences, Lahore, for over two years. Additionally, he has completed professional development courses from several renowned organizations including Cambridge, British Council, SAS (ISO), and Harvard.

Muazzam is known for his strength in policy making, contributing to various management sections within the College. He successfully established the Community Service Program and the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Program at CCH. His interests and hobbies include adventure activities such as biking, trekking, and camping, as well as traveling, movies, music, swimming, stuffing birds, and playing music.
